For those of you who don't know, I was having Hard Starting issues with the 4Runner for a few weeks now. Seemed as though, it would start ok in the morning when cold, and again if I would turn it off but then start it right away. However, if I let it sit for an hour, and then tried to start it again, it would take 3 turns of the key to get going again. After troubleshooting, exchanging some E-mails with another forum member, I figured it might be the Refurbished Fuel Injectors I purchased off E-bay to solve my CEL and rough running condition.
I contacted the seller, who advised that he had a bad batch of injectors that had come out, and were basically causing vehicles to flood, due to a over flow of fuel coming from the injectors. He also advised that some of the O'rings were faulty, and causing fuel to leak as well, and advised that if I could find the faulty injectors, he'd replace them at no extra cost. However, not having too much faith in his product at this point, I decided to try and just swap 5 of the 6 out using my old injectors, and see what happens.
I wanted to tackle it a couple of weeks ago, but decided that this time, if I was taking apart the intake plenum, I was gonna change out my Valve Cover gaskets too. So I ordered some from Air Cabinman and waited for them to arrive in the mail. After about a week or so, I got them in, and decided to tackle the job today!
So, my buddy and I decided to try and fix my hard start issue 1 more time! But this time, we took a drive to my dad's place, and used his HEATED 2 BAY GARAGE!
We ended up taking the intake plenum off again, and swapped back in the 5 old injectors, leaving only 1 Refurbed injector in the Cylinder 1 spot. After driving it home, leaving it parked for an hour, and then going back out to restart it..... IT STARTED UP WITH NO PROBLEMS!!!!

I'm gonna test it thoroughly over the next few days, but looks like this was the fix! Lesson learned....don't buy expensive components off E-bay....you never know what you're gonna get!
P.S: Interested in having a good laugh??? My buddy recently did a brake job for my cousin on his Chevy Optra....only to find that this was all that was left of his Rotors:
THE ENTIRE INNER FACING OF THE ROTOR WAS ALMOST COMPLETELY WORN DOWN! HE HE HE!
And you thought I procrastinated on maintenance issues.....
