FINALLY a Cure for Backup / Reverse Lights

These look great. I have dark tint on my rear window and want as much help as possible before I cough up extra money for auxiliary lights on the rear (eventually!).

I saw these on Amazon as compatible with 2200 lumens by LUYED:

Amazon.com: LUYED Extremely Bright 2200 Lumens Backup Reverse Lights 921 912 W16W 3030 20-EX Chipsets With Lens, Xenon White: Automotive

I shopping everyone would CONCUR that these would not only be compatible but ALSO a step up?

Thanks!

I have these in 1600 lumens and bought them in May 2018, never had an issue. These are incredibly easy to install and very bright.

Wow, quick and easy. Ordered some for my 03 Sport and my wife's '14 RAV4 and what a difference.

Now I am looking at LED's all around for both. Looks like her's will be straightforward, given the existing projector lights she has but my reflector type are more difficult. Oh well

THnaks to all for the links and tips.

if you want to have brighter lights, convert the parking and stop light as extra signals, then use the old signals as added reverse lights, this has worked for me so far and I don't really need the use of the aux light I have mounted at bottom of bumper.

Interesting... where are your parking & brake lights now?

The existing parking and brake lights still function the same, the Diode Dynamics Tail As Turn modules he uses just adds a third function to them, turn signals. They're now like trailer lights, STT (Stop Tail Turn)

These are listed as 2200 lumens but if you read the description, it's 1100 lumens per bulb. The 1600 lumen ones posted by the OP says 1600 per bulb. So I would say the original ones posted would still be the way to go. I have an S2 aux light in my bumper but I'm still going to order a set of these.

Just installed the luyed 1600 lumens and they are super bright! Like light up my neighbors front yard across the street bright!
