Finally got my lift and tires on...what to do next?

Went with the Boss kit, total chaos UCA and BFG AT KO2 in 285x70x17. Loving it so far. Looking for my next mod(s).

It looks like Ellis Precision is still in business and doing a group buy on shift knobs, think I might have to get in on that. Hopefully he'll do custom grab handles again soon.

Anyone with the same setup, what did you do to secure the ABS wire after installing the UCA's? It looks like they provided a couple of zip ties to tie it to that small slot on the UCA but I really want a better solution.

I would remove the factory running boards, or replace them with a good set of sliders!

Go have some fun! See how capable the rig is off-road and then see if you need anything else. Slidders, skids, fridge, bumpers, winch, roof rack, RTT, trailer, and the list goes on-and-on.

Shrockworks: 5th Gen Toyota 4Runner Rock Sliders, 2010-2017

I did that exact lift for my new white 4runner! I then did the headlights, high beam/drl, fogs and interiors all in 5000k LEDs. Sliders should be finished this week. Also, I LINE-X'd my valence covers, removed my mud flaps in the front, and plastidipped my TRD off road logo on the side black. Next thing on the list is remove the rear mud flaps (one disappeared today when I got stuck in the creek lol). Then, wheels are next with scs stealth 6s. I'm also creating a wheel well barrier using kydex. After that, it'll be a roof rack (likely gobi) and perhaps a bumper. I just got this thing a week ago. I've been told I don't half ass anything... I whole ass everything!

Hope this gives you some ideas!

Which lights did you use & are the better? Any feedback would be great.

From the looks of things, I'd say that little bit of puddle jumping you did ended up with all the mud on your doors. Are ya sure you want to leave those mud flaps off?:noidea:

I went with the overwhelming amount of reviews I saw with people using XenonDepot. I just used the XD H11s and their corresponding lights for fogs. I went with the CANbus Leds for the DRL. I wanted to make sure my DRL's would still work.

Fogs were from XD as well.

All the inside lights were phillips LEDs, which are a great improvement from the halogen crappers I had. The H11 headlights are nice and a significant upgrade from the halogens.

Also, mudflaps will be unnecessary when I get the rock sliders finished up. You should've seen how much mud ended up on the car behind me HEH.
