Finally got my lift parts!

LOL! His little niece makes him wear 'em. Even my wife busted his balls about the bracelets.

I'm getting some AFTER PICS kball. I wish I would've searched a little more for some Tundra TRD Beilstein coilovers but I was in a hurry since I had a busted rear shock and I figured I might as well get it all done already.

But I gotta say, for the money, the Tundra coilovers and LC coils makes the best over-all lift for the buck. Half the price than the other lifts with the same or higher height and using quality Toyota parts. I'm loving the look, feel and lift of this set-up!

Thanks again to the forum members here for helping me with this set-up. If not for them, I would've wasted much time and money.

Great job. definitely get those after pics up. looks like it went in smooth. I wouldn't worry about the fact that your fronts are simply tundra and not TRD Tundra. If I understand correctly the only difference between the coils is that the TRD coils are progressive and so ride a little nicer on the road but loose lift quicker than the standard Tundra. I think your going to find that they ride great and you will not need to go TRD. Again nice write up

Looks great and good job on the step by step pictures with description! I bet this will help alot of people when they do their lifts. Can't wait to see how the whole 4r looks. How does it ride with those fronts and the rear OME shocks? I'm planning on upgrading front shocks to bilstein 5125's for a Tundra because i'm sure they are already starting to wear out. They were used but i'm not too sure how many miles were on them.

I just wanted to make a correction on the second rearend pic. Thats your panhard and not the swaybar. You had quite a few pics and I could see how that can get named incorrectly when you have a lot to post. Can you edit that pic so future viewers don't see it and get confused?

Thanks Sam (Rockdawg84). These coilovers are actually really smooth, but I guess I'm comparing them to my old one's with 200K+ miles! I really like the way it came out. I might keep the coils but change the front shocks/struts for Bilsteins in the future. Thanks again for all your help and advise Sam. :thanks:

Well thanks to all you guys for the great advise. I just simply put into pictures what you guys described in words. Yeah I really like the coils up front, but like I mentioned before and what people have advised, in the future change 'em to Bilsteins. Thanks again for your advise 99yota4, I wanted a setup like yours and I got pretty close. Next up are some 33's and spidertrax.

The second pic in the former order was labeled swaybar which was clearly the panhard and it was the panhard that was the only one I was referring to....never said anything about the stabilizer. now it seems the pics are different but no matter. it was corrected and now you have good informative pics.

I'm not a fan of alot of rake but its not really noticeable even though you have a 2" front lift and a 4" rear lift. Is that what you ended up with lift wise? Looks really good to me. :hatsoff:

measure from center of wheel to edge of fender flare. We can compare that to known data...that's if you want to figure out how much lift you got.

So I read in some other posts about staying away from the 7 wrap LC coils. I went with the 7.5 wrap. Is this bad? If so, why?

I have no idea why except they won't give enough lift to match a 3" front lift. I'm pretty sure the spring rate is the same...can't imagine it would be different. Can you post a link to where you read it?
