Finally got my lift parts!

Looks great:guitar3: lose the running boards and it will really look tall. then some sweet 33's and your good to go. Great job man. It feels good to work on your own rig.

Hey Rockdawg84, I would love to get rid of the running boards and I was about to, till my wife *****ed about how she wouldn't be able to get in. She's 5'2 and had a hard enough time before the lift. Plus, she really likes the running boards for some reason. Chicks. :girl:

Get sliders and lay em flat, then your both happy :wink2:

I have no idea why except they won't give enough lift to match a 3" front lift. I'm pretty sure the spring rate is the same...can't imagine it would be different. Can you post a link to where you read it?

So what is wrong with 7 wraps? Hmmm...

Because my rear is at 4" inches now and if my front is 2" or 2.5", I can still get some OME coils in the future to bring the front up to 3" and get less rake? Is my logic off?

LOL, hell that was a thread I started. I didn't remember because what he was saying is taken out of context. I think he was referring only to me wanting to throw spacers on the 7 wraps and he was directing to stay away. Don't freak out...there is nothing wrong with what you have. I'm getting 7 wraps eventually but may not need spacers...dunno but I'm gona find out.

I had spacers on those same springs for over a year on my previous 80 which was way heavier than our 4runner. If it sags over time then it sags...I'll find another set or just go with something different.

Also don't forget that it is well documented that the rear springs will settle over time so give them a couple weeks/months.

I have a question for you....How did you get those top plate bolts put in? How did you press them in?

These circled in red.

Looks good man. I can't wait to get my lift and tires. All those trails that I had to turn back on shall soon be mine! Ahhaaa!!!:roadkill::cheers:

I have the same issue with the running boards, my wife also suffers from SAS (short a$$ syndrome). I think I'll eventually end up taking them off. I like my fenders though, those are staying.

What Year of Tundra did those front coils come from? How about the Landcruiser front coils....what year did those come from?
