I ordered the 199mm S13WE but after doing research, the 231mm 13WL seemed to be a better replacement.

Look how much worn down the stock rotors were. The new Tundra rotors are way beefier.

The stopping power is amazing. After heavy braking there is no more brake fade.

Also, what made you go with slotted/drilled? I thought everyone said stay away from that combo.

I would'a just went with slotted and avoided any kind of crossdrilled since within 30k miles they will crack and I've yet to see a set not do that. Still a great setup over stock as 4Runners brakes are pretty weak.

another one for the Tundra/Sequoia upgrade! I believe 16" after market wheel will fit. On stock wheels you can run wheel spacer or grind the inside down.

i am running on 16" Egale wheels with wheel spacer, since my tires blew out. This is how i know it fitted.

$130 for rotors and pads.
$100 for front and rear calipers for 06 Sequoia. (off ebay)
$30 for fluids (brake fluids and a Big Mac meal)
2 hrs of your life

equal to $260 and a brake well worth it.

Yes, the earlier Tundra calipers fit (199mm).

OP - Nice set of brakes. Hope it works out for you. IMO, a little overkill. I would've just went with the stock blank rotor set up, but at least they look nice.

BTW, does anybody even have 56k anymore? 56k warnings don't seem applicable now-a-days.

Did you say that you did a sequoia rear brake upgrade??

Here's my break down...
$130 on the D/S rotors (pair)
$260 Tundra 13WL Calipers
$30 Powder coated
$60 Hawk pads

As far as drilled vs slotted... i've had the D/S on all my vehicles and never had a problem with cracking...so never thought much of it.

56K...ya i know, it just sounded good. like...LOOK OUT!!

and a lot of hand cleaner...

Ebay is your friend. Just take your time on putting it together. took me over 3 month to win a set. But if your stock breaks are still good then way rush.

13WL - Sequoia Calipers

Ok guys. It is doable.
I just bought some 2001 Sequoia front calipers.

$50 each. They came with pads and shims.
Why? I do not know.
But I think I am going to use some hi-temp paint and paint them. Powder coating sounds great but budget wise, I dont know.

check that out on the Tundra Solutions someone is selling a 02 calipers for $60 plus shipping. thats a deal if some wants to also do the upgrade.
