I've been running a kit from Callahan for nearly 3 years now with no issues. I don't particularly care for the drilled/slotted rotors(no actual issues, just not a fan) and at the time I could only get the calipers in red, not black. Functionally, they've been flawless.
No yet I’ll do it this wknd. I’ll keep you post it. I wanted to add some stickers to my calipers too. Take a look

I'm still thinking if I should pull the trigger either the Callahan or the Power stop complete set up.

i mean i guess its good for anywhere that doesnt get pad contact but does it just wear off in the first little bit or would it screw with your pads?

I installed them today went pretty good no issues .
If you have these rims they will work with this upgrade not need to do anything special

The 13WL's will not fit under ALL stock 4runner 16" wheels....like mine unfortunately. I have the 3 split arm wheels in 16" need extended studs for my 1/4" spacers.

Yes, tundra (2005 is the year I use) brakes fit the 3rd gen 4runners.
Fitment under the rims is the concern. Do a search, there are lots of threads on it talking about most any rim model.
It’s also in the stickies mod thread.
For me, the only 16”+ rims I’ve found to not fit were the early 3rd gen 16” split 3 rims (6 spokes paired up in 3 sets of 2).

Hoping I can get some help here.
I ordered 2005 Tundra rotors and pads from Amazon and the rotors are huge. They are 12.5"
231mm rotors are just over 9"
Here's what I ordered:

Every where I search for Tundra front rotors, every description says 12.5"
I can seem to find the right set anywhere.
I'd like a set of slotted if possible.

The 199mm and 231mm sizing for the Tundra brakes is the caliper size, not the rotor size. You need to upgrade the rotors, pads, and calipers together. You can't just put the Tundra rotors and pads on without upgrading the calipers as well.

ok I understand. I bought my 13WL calipers at NAPA. But aren't the rotors on the 2005 Tundra supposed to be the same diameter as the 4Runner? The ones I got in the link above are much larger. And everywhere I look they are the same size. Can someone post a link where I can buy the right size rotors like Power Stop or some other slotted rotor. Thanks again.

Ok, I figured it out. My 4runner came with 15" wheels from the factory. This means my rotors are actually the smaller ones. 297mm (11.6") vs the 320mm (12.6") rotors many of you already have. The Tundra also used 320mm rotors so they are bigger than the ones I had on my 4runner. This is a good thing as I will benefit from a larger rotor as well by doing this mod. I'll try and install it all tomorrow.

FWIW, that Callahan CCK02111 kit for $172 delivered is super cheap and you can spray the calipers any color you want for another $20 in caliper paint in a weekend
