You can get single sided adhesive weather stripping at Home Depot, that's what I used on mine. The first time I only used 3 segments spaced out around 6" and the wind still found it's way through somehow.

So I'm finally completely done with my fairing, for real this time! We got a powdercoat gun at work and a giant oven so I powdercoated it satin black. I got some gloss black TRD decals to go on the sides, and I think it ended up turning out pretty cool.

The picture kinda sucks, I'll get a better one out in the sun at some point.

Yea you could. Cut the big pieces and the bend some metal brackets to attach the pieces together. I dont think you would want to use as many rivets as he did. Drilling that many holes in plexi may make it prone to cracking.

It's not bend around it, but I do see why you'd say that. If you look at the very first picture on the first page you'll see it there.

^this haha. It fooled me too at first. I was gonna say that would be impossible to do with plexi but after looking at earlier pictures it's just a really clean line.

I think you could do a pretty slick job making it out of plexi. Plexi can actually be bent with a little heat applied to it. If you could make the flat pattern of the fairing out of one big piece, I bet you could bend it into shape. It was easier for me to cut it out of aluminum.

On a side note, there was talk of making a run of these fairings if you're interested.
