Firestone coil rite w/ rear spacer

Just got of the phone with my shop to schedule an install in the rear of a firestone coil rite air bag helper spring and toytec 1.5 spacer. The employee caught me off gaurd when he said the helper spring might not install correctly with use of spacers? I had never heard of this, I thought tons of guys on here had spacer kits with coil rites in the rear for towing? Any truth to this or should I just call him back and say schedule the install it will go in fine? (I currently have a 2/1 cornfed but wanted a lil more rake in the rear and added support for towing our trailer hence helper springs)

I ran a Daystar spacer with Firestone helpers just fine. Is the toytec just the rubber type spacer that sits on top of the coil spring?

Ya that's exactly what type of spacers they are. Did your spacers get squished or cracked over time with the added weight in the rear during towing?

I only ran them a few months before installing my OME kit. If I were to do it again, I would have just put the Superflex rear springs in from the start honestly.

I agree with you 100% but A. I already have the parts and B. want to keep everything stock until my warranty runs out. I just don't want to give the dealer any ammo should I ever need service. My dealer only installs spacer kits on their runners in order to keep everything OEM. Thanks for the help I made an appointment for Wednesday.
