Hey my rear hatch windo does not work. Nothing in the rear works. No rear wiper no window and the rear light wikk not come on. What where people finding wrong??
My power antenna still works the mast is just snapped off. Only wanted to delete it so it does not get broken off roading.

When my antenna stops working, I'm just going to replace it with a non-retracting one. The last time I replaced an antenna I decided to go with a spring loaded unit.... I've seen guys here go with a whip.
As far as the rear gate issue, the last thread I read (maybe a yr ago) the problem was damaged cable at the hinge. When I first joined, I read a thread where the member had the track/winder motor fail. This member mentioned he had a tough time finding a replacement winder/motor from a wrecking yard. I'm sure if you do a search, you'll find more detail on problems/solutions. Good luck!

nice to see another new member! For some reason my computer isn't showing any pictures but its probably just on my end. Theres already been plenty of lift talk in your thread here but Id like to point out that you shouldn't go with a spacer lift, after a year of having mine Ive already bought 961s and new shocks haha.

Post up what you do with your antenna, i have the same problem after putting in a new stereo and it has TERRIBLE reception.

I took all the pics down due to them being upside down. Yeah not going to go with spacers for sure. Looking at different lift springs, bilstien adjustable front shocks and the tundra/LC setup. I dont want to have to a diff drop and anything else like that so want to keep the lift mild.

Got the brake issue all sorted. It was a bad booster. Picked up a used one from LKQ a local auto recycler, for $50. I was planning on going down to the river wahs or lake to do a bit of off road fun tomorrow. Mother nature had other plans. Its been raining pretty hard since mid day so the washes will all be flooded or super muddy messes that i do t want to go to solo. Dont want to get stuck and in new to off roading.

Went wheeling aways. Went down to scyamore creek a local wheeling and avt creek wash that is normally dry. However after the heavy rain yesterday the creek was flowing which was very nice. Got to play in some water and wet sand very soft wet sand. The 4runner did great only thing was a lound clunk or bang from the right rear went hitting a large po hole not or bump. I think it might be a bad shock bottoming out but i will check it out at work when i get a chance. Better tires would be very useful in the sand. Here are some pics from the trip hopefully they wont be upside down. I went with a buddy of mine, his wife and kids. Thats his F150 Raptor in the pics. My wife and daughter went with me so it was fun outing.

Thanks. Its what i got it for. To go wheeling, camping, shooting, hiking, hunting and towing.

Figured out the bang i think. Bad shocks along with no bump stop on the right rear.

I am going with the boss from toytec. A local guy is going to be making my bumpers!

No not yet. Still thinking either tundra lc or ome setup. Only want to go about 2 inch lift on it keep it mild.

After the trip to sycamore creek the runner had a bunch of dirt sand and mud still under the running boards wheel wells ect. So i felt it was time for a good cleaning. After a trip to autozone for some needed cleaning supplies and 2 hours washing and detailing inside and out along with polishing and waxing the hood here are the results.

Washed my civic as well and took a pic to share. 98 civic hx ls vtec swap ihe and tuned.

Flushed the trans and serviced the front, rear diffs and t case. Used valvoline max life atf and valvoline 75w90 gl5 full synthetic in diffs and t case.

Yep all she really needs is lower control arm bushings, alignment and tires now. Well other than all the little things like rear wiper and window not working and the power antenna mast being broken. Still need to flush the brakes and power steering and then all the fluids will have been replaced with new. Another little thing is rotors are slightly warped so need to cut the rotors. Also going to do plugs fuel system flush and timing belt when i can. Doing it a litle at a time.

Went to the local pick a part yard today after work in search of so rear bump stops for my runner. I found an oldsmobile bravada but the bump stops were pretty rough. Walked down a little further and found a s10 blazer with some nice rear bump stops on it. New oem bump stops about $63 a piece wrecking yard blazer bump stops $17 with $3 yard entry fee. I wanted to look for an antenna that would work to delete the power unit but they were closing. I should be able to get the bump stops in tomorrow.

S10 blazer bump stops installed. They bolt right into the stock location. I did trim off the first section on each one. They were too long for the runner at dtock height.

Congrats on your rig. I wheel with Tacoma world guys so maybe I'll see you around sycamore or something! I have yet to take my new limited out with anyone.

Ordered poly upper and lower control arm bushings from toytec. Gonna get that front end all tight again.

if you go wheeling soon you can probably count me in, I finally got my rear brake lines in, I just need to modify the gastank skid to clear the axle at full flex.
