I got my CBI ditch light brackets installed. I am very happy with them, install was super easy. You dont need to trim off as much of the plastic cowel as their instructions say to but other than that all went as expected. Tomorrow i really hope to install an and wire my lights. I got an oem fog light switch for the dash knock outs. $16 at local dealer, its the switch for the dealer option Hella fog lights. And i got a wiring kit off ebay complete with relay ect. I will post up pics once they are finished.

Got my lights installed on my cbi brackets and all wired up. Very happy with them so far, i cant wait to test them out oof road in the dark to give them a real test. Enjoy the pics more to come omce i can use them.

Have not post up in a while since not much has been done to the 4runner and i have not been out playing on the trails since money has been tight. My wife had brain surgery in Feb 13th to remove a cyst that was pressing on her brain. Thankfully all went well and she is recovering very nicely. Due to that she has not been working for a couple months. But the 4runner has not been at a total stand still. I took it to the desert with my dad to go shooting, he had a lot of fun since he has not had a 4x4 or any rig that is off road worthy in many years. Good bonding time:hug:. I also got the Airad Jr intake i had been wanting, my intake tube was cracked and rock hard anyways. I should be getting my lift kit here soon as well, now i am thinking Toytec Ultimate instead of OME?
Sold our house for asking price cash and the wife and i are in the process of trying to buy a house we found and love, so moving is in the near future. I also got transfered to another location with my work and it seems to working out. Life has been pretty busy.

On sunday me and my buddy Shannon did the 4 Peaks to Canyon Lake loop. That was fun and a super easy trail, all graded forest service roads. I was in 2wd for 95% of the time did not really even need to use 4wd but i did use 4H for a steep area. Did some fast driving on the dirt traiks and slid around some turns, it was fun but i did not push it too hard. Here are some pics of the views we had from the trail.

So finally some more work is getting done on my 4runner. I ordered my lift OME 881 890 with front sport shocks and soft rears and front diff drop from Toytec. The rear shocks are on back order for at least a week so i will be doing the rear shocks once i get them but in the mean time im will get the rest installed on monday. I wanted the Toytec Ultimate kit but my budget said no. Iam sure i will be happy with OME and i can always upgade the front in the future.

Got my OME 881/890 lift installed, all but the rear shocks cause they are on back order. I also did the front diff drop and front alignment. First impressions are good, rides nice, firmer than the stock springs and KYB shocks but still smooth. I love the way it sits now.

So i have had my lift on for almost a week now and have drive my rig a bit lately so even though i dont have my rear ome shocks yet i must say i am loving the nee setup. It rides and handles a lot better than stock and it sits just the way i wanted. Niw though it needs wheel spacers, my tires look skinny from the rear, lime a lifted jeep with stock wheels and tires:dammit:

Been awhile since i have updated my build bu t not much as happened with the 4runner Plans for a roof rack and maybe retro fitting a stock Jeep Rubicon rear bump as a front bumper with winch mount for the runner are in the works so keep an eye out. I did do a light off road trip solo today to Sycamore Creek. The plan was to meet up with some co workers and do some wheeling behind Saguaro Lake but hang overs changed my plans. I ran pretty far down the creek this time and found some nice fair weather camping and shooting spots that would be away from most people. Revisited a spot with a nasty rock obstacle hill at the end of a small trail (see pics) there was a tire eating rock, I woukd love see a 4runner cli b up that well wny vehicle for that matter. It woukd take a bad ass rig to make it over that hill. There was a totally burned to the ground Nissan Armada on that trial crashed I to a rock, i think it was a theft joy ride then they burned it, i was glas to see it was gone this time. There was still a lot if left over debris from it though. It got so hot it melted the aluminium wheels see pics. I climbed a few small hills just for practice and fun but stayed away frm any challenging hills since i was all alone out there, just a few quads. All in all it was fun and the Toyota did well as always and got me home safely.
