First Foglights stopped now Horn Stopped

First my Foglights stopped now horn was very low nxt day horn stopped working anyone have any ideas when i turn on fog lights i hear a relay inside the car.

Umm, yeah. Need a lot more info here than horn and lights stopped working.

What year?
What model?
you buy it new?
was it ever in an accident?
any other issues experienced in the past that may, or may not, be related?
Is it still under warranty?
How many miles?
 
Thanks for the quick reply .Philsey, it is a 2011 4 runner with 55000 miles no mods original owner no issues starting truck battery terms clean. horn beeped low then stopped after pressing it.
 
I would bet [MENTION=51186]philsey[/MENTION] 's retirement money that:

Battery terminals are loose. If you can turn them by hand, at all, they are loose.

or

Battery is dead or dying.

Hi rob1962,

I just grabbed a look at the 2011 4Runner wiring schematic (Horn and Fog-light data) and what [MENTION=32290]gm350reratliff[/MENTION] offered sounds to be SPOT-ON regarding these two completely different electrical circuits, as they do share a common ground via the Main body ECU COMPU. My suggestion (before going ape s#*t w/tests) would be to disconnect the battery for four full hrs to drain/reset the ecu power supply... then try it again; will likely be firmware related as opposed to hardware if there have been no changes to the vehicle's equipment recently! I'll post the electrical data sheets if you need them but they'll need to be converted (formatted via photobucket) before I can, so try the disconnect method first,

Thanks Greg, No time for anything anymore so far i did find a blown fuse for the horn, Will replace tommorrow and then see if she blows then will check and investigate fog lights issue Thanks again.

Ok horn now works turned out to be a blown fuse,Still sounds a bit low when blown but we will see thank you everyone.

...if the 'Horns' sound somewhat, restricted or muted when working there's a good chance that they've seized; a condition that exists when rust or other foreign matter is introduced into their voice-coil/former/pole assembly. This problem will also cause the horns to draw high amperage; due to the lack of free motion within the armature (motor), and is a common cause of blown horn fuses.

Yep, that happens with horns sometimes. A little whack with the handle of a screwdriver sometimes "frees" up the armature inside and makes it loud again, sometimes for forever, sometimes for a few weeks only. I'd try it first and see if it works out for you.
