First issue i have so far is the A/C. Before turning my vehicle off i have always had the habit of turning my A/C off and since yesterday it will not. I keep pushing to turn off but light stays on and still blows cold air. Guess i will need to have the dealer check out.

check to see if you temperature control is turned to the coldest setting. This will automatically turn on the A/C. You will have to turn it one click warmer to disengage the A/C. Kind of annoying.

Is this for the limited or both since mine is a SR5? I do have it on the coldest setting and will go try your advice.

if you have the cold dialed in all the way it'll keep the ac on...

this is on the trail and the sr5 btw.

Yeah, that setting is Max AC. I was wondering why this happened when i first bought it too. REALLY annoying. Hope this is the reason!

Dumb question but are you turning the knob to off?? Pressing the A/C button doesn't turn the blower off, which will keep the A/C on if you have the temp set to coldest.

This feature is a bit annoying ... In addition, the labeling on it was sooooo small.

I've never understood why people do this?

You mean why do people turn off AC before turning the car off?. In the 'olden days' I was taught this was taught this was a good practice, because it is one less item drawing power on the belt on start up and thus less stress on the starter. Dont know if this is valid anymore since alot of cars are programmed to only turn the compressor on a couple of seconds after start up.

I think the "max" a/c setting recirculates the cold air in the car as opposed to bringing fresh air into the vehicle.

I just picked up my Limited today and I think I'm having the same 'problem'. Basically, I cannot get all of the lights to turn off on the A/C controls. I will turn the fan completely off, but the light with the arrow depicting top flow A/C is still illuminated. I don't believe the A/C is actually running, so why is the 1 button still illuminated? Any help?
Turn the temp one click to the right and see if that turns it off. The fan only controls the fan.

Turn the temp off 'max a/c', then press the a/c button & your done :)

Correct, I do not have the temp set to the coldest setting. The A/C itself is not running, it's just the stick figure button is still illuminated. I will check it out tomorrow...

Give the manual a good read-through. Lot of good info in there that may tell you why it is keeping the AC on.
