First upgrade, what should it be?

Each of the stock front springs are 500+# springs. That means the front needs more than 1000 lbs per inch of compression. Adding a 140# bumper to the front will drop the front end by less than 1/4".
I have a Shrockworks bumper on my stock suspension right now. it's not noticeably lower. I will say the large bumper makes the 9 inches of clearance look low, but it's not really lower than it was with the stock bumper.

well, i'll be damned. thought that'd be much worse than you describe, though i may have been factoring a winch, line, and dual battery into my consideration. (for no good reason other than these are the typical bedfellows for a "winch-mount bumper".) at 140 lbs, the Shrockworks is lighter than i guess i assumed it to be.

that being said, anyone investing in a schweet Shrock bumper will soon find the stock suspension sorely lacking so I am getting an Icon setup put on tomorrow! :boink:
