Hey guys and girls. I am about to buy new radio for my truck and it's best time to do something about original radio wiring harness that somebody butchered when instaling aftermarket radio. Half of wires comming to blue connetor are cut and connected to iso connector. Smart person who did this, don't even bothered to solder the wires, they are just twisted together with with load of black tape on it. Horrible to even look at it.
Question is what solution to use in fixing this mess.
Solution A: Solder back old wires to connector - > kind of hard to do since there is not much wire remaining in connector. Then buy toyota - iso adapter for aftermarket radio.
Solution B: Get new wire terminals and make "new" connector -> problem is to get those terminals, they are kind of non existing in this part of world and it ll be hard to get. And then again buy toyota - iso adapter for aftermarket radio.
Solution C: Completly get rid of original toyota connectors and directly solder new iso connector to it.
What do you think? What would you recomend? I personaly looking at C as best and easiest way to do it.
