Thanks for the reply. I have ordered those shocks, but I have the springs from a 2014 FJ, which I (actually my brother, and it was hard enough talking him into a lift at all) would like to use to save the $350 or so. What I need to know is if the FJ springs will lift it at all and if so, how much. I am hoping for around 2" or so. Anyone know about the late model (2014) FJ springs?

I put it in this thread earlier that I gained ~2" of lift using springs from a 2011 FJ. I have Tundra Bilsteins on the 2nd perch up front and I put in some 4Runner Bilsteins in the rear a week ago. With a longer shock I was able to get the rake that I was looking for(I had oem replacement monroes in the rear for a bit). So yes those springs will give you about 2" of lift on all four corners.

OK, I re-read your post. For some reason I was thinking that you had earlier model springs and I read in a different thread that they may not all be the same height wise so just wanted to confirm. Thank you.

Whats Your Results

Ok, now I am confused again. I have read a few threads that say FJ springs will provide about 2" of lift. Then, I saw one where someone installed them and got zero lift- and these were springs from a 2012 I believe. I have springs from a 2014. Looking for a 2-3" lift and going to use Bilstein Tundra 5100s. If anyone has any info, I would like to know if these springs will lift it (2000 Ltd) and if so, how much. I was thinking I would use the lowest perch on the front shocks and would have about 2" of lift. Now I wonder if I need to use a higher perch and do I need taller springs for the rear. Anyone know about this??

The springs worked great and provided about 2" of lift all the way around. I ordered the exact parts from the list in the pic and they worked great. As a reminder, my springs were from a 2014 FJ with about 25K miles on them. Here is the parts list.
I ended up not needing the new spring isolators, the ones on there were in perfect shape.

Here are the springs after I got the new shocks mounted. I re-used the blue boots (they were in great shape). The shocks came with the black "accordion style" boots and it didn't seem to me like they would work that well inside the spring. Maybe they would have been fine but I had the blue ones so I went with them.

And a few shots of the end result. The tires are 285 BFGs. They look great, work great too, but do rub a little bit when the front wheels are cranked. Probably needs a little trim job but haven't gotten to it yet. This is my brothers Runner and he has been driving it with no issues so we'll see if that even needs to be done.

What notch did you end up using on the Tundra 5100's? Bottom or the second one?

96 SR5 with 2009 FJC 4x4 springs all the way around, with KYB Gas-A-Just shocks replaced at same time (all around). Tires are 265/75r16 falken wildpeaks (highly recommend).

For me, this set up is perfect. I'd say I gained on all corners. It is definitely higher, probably not much more than 99 talls would have done. Total cost was right at $300 (including $50 to have the new fronts assembled).

Current measurement from center of hubcap is right at 22" all around. I'm not good at documenting, but here is after pic. (obviously, also not good at pictures)

Might be chiming in late but hope this helps someone. I was going crazy looking for an affordable mild lift. I am extremely happy with how it rides.
