FJ wheels on my 4Runner (pics)

The Sport Edition wheels were my favorite wheels for the 4Runner, but when I saw how the FJ wheels looked on the 4Runner, I just had to get a set for myself.

Not only does the offset give the 4Runner a better stance, but I prefer the thicker, angled spokes on the FJ wheels to the softer, curved spokes on the Sport Edition wheel. I guess it just gives it a "tougher" look or something...

How do you like the Coopers? I'm thinking of giving them a try. The tread looks like it would handle snow too. Are they reasonably priced?

thanks...wow, that would be close with the BFG's I have. I'll have to measure how much space I have after the lift.

After the lift you should have no problems . I would think plenty of clearance.

I love the Discoverer ATRs. They were $117/tire from Mavis and yes, they are excellent in the snow. I drove quite a bit with them last winter in snowy conditions and they were MUCH better than I had expected.

I was thinking butt ugly . Dont care for the front end of that Jeep at all .

.but the front nose looks weak and too bling-bling.

Thanks. The tires are 65's....wanted to keep the stock size for many different reasons.

BTW, I still have one spacer lift kit available, and it has your name on it! As you can see, it changes the look quite a bit.

You didn't have any rubbing issues did you? I'm assuming not, sticking with the 65's, but wanted to check before I do the same thing.

If you stick with the 65's no worries. If you go to 70's follow this link and scroll down. It's a super-easy how-to for a fender liner relocate.

A less effective but even easier minor adjustment can be made too. Look here.

Nothing. Just swap the sensors to the new wheels.

Is there any issue with FJ wheels that would have come on the 2007 FJ models, which I believe didn't have TPMS?

The FJ wheels fit perfectly, just bolt em up and go. I had 265-65-17's, which fit great and filled out the wheelwells nicely.
