Flashing A/C light

Hello everyone,
I have aquestion, any body have a/c light flashing when it is set to windshield?
I don't remember having this last year, but service department told me to check manual, possibly defrosting mode. I think it started after installing trd cai

FWIW - Mine does *NOT* flash when it's defrosting the windshield. It lights up solid.

My wife's Camry started doing this after having the alternator replaced. When i got it back, the fan would work, but the AC indicator light would blink and cold air would not come out. I took it back to the shop and the control module was reset.

At the moment, I believe your blinking light is telling you that it's malfunctioning. I would assume that it is not a mechanical failure, but a computer or power failure. Check your connections and fuses to make sure you didn't hit something or cause it to fail.

I had this happen to me once about a year ago. If I remember correctly it stopped when I either:
1) pushed the button with the flashing light, waited a while, and then pushed it again
2) pushed the button with the flashing light, turned the ignition off, and then pushed it again.

Please let us know what the fix turns out to be.

I will probably check fuses and try to disconnect battery to reset comp and see what happen.

Went trough fuses and found that a/c fuse was in wrong spot.
Problem solved.

long story short,
when i installed trd cai i accidentally pulled out ground wire on one of the plugs.:redbrick:
after installation was completed car would not start, so i went through fuses and misplaced the one for a/c.:roadkill:
