Flat Silver - Paint Protection Film

I will be running the limited wheels with 1.5" spacers and 275 55 20 nitto trail grapplers.

Is that a new size Nitto manufactures or do you mean 295/55R20?

What color would you do your hood? Just matte finished or black?

I photochop'd black a few months ago.

I think I'd like to keep the color and just lose the glare, so probably matte finish.

Do they make that film in a glossy finish? The only reason I ask is because a flat finish like that makes the paint job look like the first step of a base coat/clear paint job only. In other words, it looks like the paint was never clearcoated. I'm not sure if that's the look you were trying for, but if it was I have to ask why? Don't you like your paint glossy? People have been doing their front ends for years now with similar film, but it keeps the paint nice and shiny.

I'm going for the flat paint look. The whole car will be flat silver and flat black. It looks awesome in person and no one will have the same 4runner as me. Yes they do make shiny film, I own a company called Auto Armour. We specialize in paint protection film, also known as "clear bra".

called a few local shops in south Florida, and they are asking $250-$350 for matt black on a TE hood. I don't think I would want to try this on my own on the TE hood.

Not sure what your trying to accomplish . Whats the goal ? The flat silver does look intriguing though and will def set it apart.
