Looking forward to hearing how the SC effected your high altitude drivability over, lets say Vail Pass or the tunnels on I-70.

Maybe I missed it but how many miles were on your engine when you installed it?

I'm on the Front Range too and am looking at the Magnuson.

The truck was at 230k when I threw on the Supercharger. Once I get my AFR's in check I think it will be night and day difference on the passes. I have driven down to Telluride and up and over Monarch and it's night and day even not running as well as it could.

I thought for sure those Kings were for a 3 linked front, but this is cool too.

I'm real interested to see how this thing does with that new setup. Post more pics.

Tonight I spent a couple of hours repositioning the shock mounts upper and lower to gain a little bit more ground clearance and kicked the lower mounts back at more of an angle. It will require a little more work on the frame side as far as reinforcements go but worth the higher clearance. I'm probably running the smallest tires of those who have installed this kit which makes it a little trickier.

I also threw a coil on each and confirmed my clearances at full articulation. This is going to be killer in the rocks compared to the original setup.

I also set the truck down pretty low and it's rather cool how unassuming it is. That said ride height should be a decent bit higher than this as I am shooting for 4-5" of up travel.

Love to see the truss! I am on step 1 of doing my own trussed rear axle! I got the 4 crawler shave kit installed. I had the same idea as you to buy a truss and modify it. Someone else had pointed me in the direction of the Ford 9 Inch truss as a good option. This just sealed it for me! I was hoping SOMEONE out there had done it.

Any more close up or in progress pics of the truss fit up?

I'll get some more tonight when I work on it. Its a little wide and will take a little bit to form it some more for good welding but overall as a top truss itll be perfect. The Toyota Back truss from them also works well with minor modification around the pumpkin.

Finished up the 3 Link and got to take it out and test it. So far a night and day difference over factory. The 3 Link alone transformed the driveability of this truck. Still, some work to do dialing in the coilovers, ride height, and a sway bar is something I want to add in the future.

Upper Mounts, I added some additional reinforcement being as high up as it is on the frame. I also have a gusset behind the mount going on top of the frame. I also tied some 1x1 tubes to the rear bumper cross member where the reservoirs mount.

Just noticed that you're the owner of Sherpa- I was at the office yesterday picking up a Matterhorn wind deflector & a cross bar to add to my Antero rack....

Threw together a quick mount for some XL80Rs on the bumper and also swapped out the Squadron Sports with SAE's. The main reason was to get some light above the super crisp cutoff on the projectors. Without any light bleed on super dark roads, anything above the cutoff was just pitch black. The SAE's have helped a TON.

Super sick to see this one here and congrats are in order for finishing at KOH, I believe! Question - what mods, if any, have you done to your cooling system to operate at low speeds under strain, especially with all the metal up front?

The racetruck runs a stock radiator and fan, external power steering cooler, and a trans cooler located in the back seat area with a fan. Water temp usually lives around 185-195 and trans temps peak around 210-215 if we are pushing hard.

Slow speed isn't usually an issue, being on 5.29's and 35's the truck is overgeared for the rocks in lowrange, which I love.

If you are talking 3rd gen, stock radiator, fan, and an aftermarket trans cooler and that no longer runs through the bottom of the rad. I did install a lower temp thermostat though that helps with the supercharger.

Right on! Yeah I was referring to the 3rd gen cooling. I have a hot one that I have been throwing parts and burps at with no success. Without airflow it runs real hot at low speed. Cool as can be at 30 mph+ . My transmission is suspect, however and also fluctuates wildly. Maybe it's pushing heat into the motor....I don't know. Thanks for the info and continued success with Sherpa!!
