Does anyone have expreience with either of these setups and would like to share the opinion on either one of these sytems compared to stock exaust setup. And for the money is it worth the better sounding and performing exaust or does even sound and make our 4runners perform better?

I have the Maganaflow cat-back system. They used my TE to develop the system. Over time it has become a lot better and has more of a low growl to it. The side exit is also awesome for driving with the back glass down, and you don't have to worry about pinching it while off roading.

I just traded my 08 Tacoma TRD off road for a 2012 4runner SR5 4x4. beside the runner having dual vvt-i basically the same engine. The OEM exhaust is already 3" mandrel bent and if you just replace the muffler you will save some cash. I had the flowmaster 50 series on the Taco and it sounded mean, got a lot of compliments from other Tacoma guys. I plan on doing this to the 4Runner.

Back in my lane.

FWIW- I have a Magnaflow -muffler only- and I love it.

The muffler shop mistakenly thought I said "Flowmaster (???)" and installed that first. I got less than a mile away from the shop and turned around because the interior resonance (boomy sound) was aweful. It literally hurt my ears! When I looked under the truck and saw that it was a Flowmaster I understood why!

They swapped it out right away, and the difference was night and day. The Magnaflow can be heard at just about all speeds, but it's a nice growl in the background- not an overwhelming noise.

My .02! Hope it helps!
