Hey everyone, got my FMU installed, it has no temp display, great I have one on the 99 digital climate control, but I ran the wires just incase, apperently they are not needed(Baro is accurate) I also ran the dim illumination wire, I use my marker lights with fogs anytime, so I grounded the dim illumination wire so the unit stays bright all the time, it has an off switch if it bothers me at night, I actually just slipped the wires behind the pillar and headliner so I didn't need to remove the pesky grab handle.
So I guess I only really needed to run the VSS wire(as I could have grounded the dim illum under the FMU) now the big question, since I ran the VSS wire to the driver side on a 99' -oops, can I use the Green/orange wire from the AWD/RR DIFF LOCK 5mph safety feature, I'm thinking it is a VSS but wasn't sure if it sends the same signal, or is there another VSS wire I could tap on the driver side without pulling the cluster. Any ideas, thoughts? Or just string it over to the ECU or ABS and quit bugging ya's
