FNG question about new 4Runner

Hi All,

Traded in 2001 Isuzu Rodeo owned since new for 2013 2wd 4Runner. I did all the maintenance on the Rodeo for 132,000 mi. using an Isuzu owners website, served me very well. So, new car and new website where it looks like everyone is very informative and helpful. Thanks in advance for all the questions I'm sure that I'll be asking. (All ready I've learned of the adventures that await me when I go to change the oil and filter.)

So, it's the wife's car and we're outfitting it with stuff like the cargo cover and mat. My question is, it being a 5th generation, if I see that a part fits a 2010 or newer, am I good to go on ordering it? Sometimes I see parts listed for '10, '11 and '12 but not '13 and I am thinking all 5th generation stuff should fit. Any potential pitfalls I should be wary of? :yo:

Everything '10 or newer should and will fit with one exception which is the new Weathertech Liners (floor mats) are changed for the '13 because the hooks are different where they attach. Hope that helps, if I'm wrong someone will jump in and correct it.

This also applies for Husky Liner floor mats, if thats your preference of course. :yo:

Oh yeah! Very timely info because that is what we are looking at right now. Guess I'll have to get an OEM one to be sure it fits. Thanks.

Weathertech has an update for 2013

Not sure about Huskies. But both are probably better than OEM. I personally have the Weathertech liners and I am very happy with them. For the cargo area I have heard good things about canvasback, but it all comes down to choice on that.
