That grille looks pretty solid for a homemade solution. I didn't see a build thread in your signature. You have any details on how you did it?
I was planning on putting it behind the stock grille, but that looks pretty good.

Ended up ordering the 42" Opt7 C2 spot/flood combo to mount on my Gobi stealth whenever that arrives. For $101, worth it just to try it...for $1300 for Rigid, I'd be hard pressed to justify the expense as hitting an OHV trail at night will be few and far between.

Baja Designs all day long. It's all I put on my Raptor, and I've had Amazon bars as well. Biggest issue I had with those is the water penetration. That and they use low end or bottom bin leds, where quality bars use the top bin leds. That's why cheap bars give off a purplish or bluish tint, because of that impurity in the led. Here's an output pic of a single 40 inch Baja Designs light I had on my truck. I'd love to see an Amazon bar that had even close to this type of output.
Not to mention the big brands have life time warranties.
But if you can't justify the money and hardly use your light bar, then clearly it isn't for everyone. But for hard core off roaders and guys that need reliability, the top brands are the way to go.

We get it- your Baja Designs light bar is the best bar ever and could wake the dead with a million lumens not to mention survive a direct nuclear blast. I will keep an eye on it, if it leaks, I'll warranty it. If its out of warranty, I'll buy another. And another. And another. Hell, I can get like 5 for the same price of the big names.
I don't need a 4 figure light bar. I will only really use it a few times a year. I have no expectation of it being better than Rigid of Baja, but it will light shit up, and that's what I want.
I don't run the Baja 500. I just like to drive on fire roads, go fishing, go camping, and occasionally need a bit more light than my HIDs can put out.

My eBay light bar has been great. No water penetration and its not blue either.

Coming from somebody that only has 39 posts? Thank you for your wizardly insight. I was merely making an observation about differences between light bars since there was a big discussion between watts and lumens, etc. Every amazon bar i've ever ordered has failed whether it was condensation in the lens or short circuited. If it works for you, all the power to ya.
And yes, the bar is for sale because I sold my truck. This was the only light bar I had left so I figured I'd offer it up to anyone in this community as well. I wasn't trying to be a dick, but thanks for taking my opinion completely out of context.
But again, I'm not trying to make enemies and I'm sorry if I offended anyone.

Anybody know if the 42" will fit a gobi stealth w/ the 40" light bar cut out? I'm not sure if the down angle at the front of the rack is too steep to accommodate an additional inch on either side.
At that price I'm tempted to buy it anyway. Good find man.

If you mean behind the grill...I think it all depends on what mounting you would use. For most of the ways I've seen it mounted I would say straight would likely be better. If you find a creative way to mount up a curved one that would be a cool post!

I think it was a typical 5-7 business days. They were really responsive to communicate with through email! Hope the install helps, The light bar is supposed to arrive on Thursday but we leave for Disney World for the weekend on Friday, so we'll see if I can get it done before then.
Right on. Don't rush your install for me. Good chance I won't get to it, or receive the switch by this weekend anyways.

As someone with the lightbar actively in their grille, I will tell you that a curved light will not fit, and if it did fit it would be cut off by the front bumper fascia. It makes more sense to buy the straight bar and have all light project forward without any impediment.
