This 2002 Thundercloud Sport Edition with grey interior was purchased with 230k miles on October 8th 2016. One owner Seattle truck. Impeccable maintenance. Clean car fax. Bone stock. Zero rust


Maintenance:
-240k service
-Replaced entire steering rack including tie ends
-Replaced lower ball joints
-Replaced stabilizer end links
-Replaced battery
-Replaced battery terminals
-Replaced all engine bay bolts with stainless, (Preventative. I cannot stand rust)
-Champion all aluminum 3 row radiator
-TRD thermostat

Suspension:
-Toytec Boss 3" coilovers with diff drop kit

Wheels:
-Konig Countersteer X 16x8 -20 offset
-265/75/16 Toyo A/T

Performance:
-Polished aluminum intake with outerwears prefilter
-URD crank pulley, (Install pending)
-TRD exhaust Part Number: PTR06-89990-14
-TRD headers Part Number: PTR10-34950-04, coated with 2000 degree ceramic by performance coatings. (Install pending. Modification to center dual cat pipe required)
-ARP stainless header studs and nuts ordered

-Pioneer apple car play head unit
-Back up camera
-Oznium LED lighting
-New OEM floor mats

Purpose is mild off road without compromising much on road comfort. The Toytec Boss coilovers with diff drop kit fit the bill.

I wanted an aggressive stance. With the fender flares, the 4Runner can accommodate very negative offsets with deep dishes. Had the Volk TE37X on my prior 4Runner. Although a great wheel, the cost over the Konig Countersteer X is hard to justify. The Konigs are strong, lightweight, and come in the same offsets at a fraction of the cost. Purchased from Dustin at FN wheels. Outstanding customer service.

Specs: 16x8 -20 offset. Anthracite gunmetal. The wheels have a small amount of poke as compared with stock. On stock suspension, the wheels rubbed the front bumper fender flare in reverse at full clock. Once lifted, it sucked into the wheel well a little more. Stance is perfect in my opinion. No rub whatsoever now.

Thanks! When I got the 240k service done, I asked them to check the steering rack because I had about 1" of play toggling the steering wheel at highway speed. They noticed the rack was leaking, boot covers were coming apart, tie end rod cracked. The initial quote to replace this was surprisingly high, (not a couple, but several k)... Got the dealer to price match Toyota of Dallas for a brand new OEM rack, (same guys as trdparts4u). That saved a bunch.

Not yet. I had the URD 2.0" pulley on my 2000 sport. Loved it. It is the very next mod on the to do list.

Those the amazon factory style LED tail lights? I was looking at those myself but have had friends who had bad luck with that sort of thing... They the ANZO ones or the non-brand name ones? I can't decide if the price differential is worth it or not.

The nerf bars came stock on some of the 2002 sport editions.

Thanks! The lights were purchased off eBay. I think the brand is DEPO. I had these on my 2000 sport as well. Just need to reuse the stock rubber grommets. Aside from that no problems.

DRL disabled due to being on all the time with HID's. For 02 trucks, the module is located under the dash, under the steering column. Says AISIN DRL module. Cut the black and yellow wire in pin 12 pictured.

The process is different for 99-00 trucks.
