I'm looking to add some aux lighting to the front of my truck

Heavily leaning towards a defiant bar. What are my other options?

I DONT want lights behind the grill and dont have a roof rack nor do I think I will be getting one anytime soon

Thanks!

CBI should be releasing their ditch light brackets for up the 5th gen soon. They are brackets that mount under the hood hinge to mount something like a rigid dually.

You may want to specify the type of lighting you're looking for. Street legal? Peripheral? Off-road, etc..?

Rigid Industries has an upper and lower grill system that integrates their lights. Extremely costly but high quality.

There are also bull bars from Westin and Aries. The same companies also make full on grill guards.

Ducmonsta: mostly off highway use - mainly for forest roads at night when I want some extra light

I've seen the rigid grills. nice but way too expensive

There were a couple of posts about installs of LED light bars, one replacing the lower grill, and one inside the hood scoop. Nice results. Not sure if that is an option for you, since you don't want any behind the grills.

I'm kinda in the same boat on this one.

Besides the Defiant bar, the only options look like bull bars, brush guards, or a custom bar. Sucks that they only make a single Defiant bar now (I think the 3-light version).

Depending on your reasoning for not wanting any lights behind the grills, a Satoshi grill and lights behind a nice mesh might be another viable option.
