Found a Bug Deflector

Has anyone had any luck in finding the actual one made for the 10 4Runner? Toyota part # PT427-89100

My dealer gave me a parts sheet for the 10 4Runner and this is listed as "Hood Protector,1 pc., Smoked Polycarbonate". I haven't asked if it's available in awhile but am curious if anyone has had any luck in finding it.

I can get you guys the EGR guards when they come out, and pretty much any other brand bug shield or vent visors.

I will say that I've had a bug shield on my own 4Runner for about 10 years and I'd call it a rock guard. I don't have one chip on my hood, and it's all because of the bug shield.

Chrome Bug Deflector?

Anyone find a chrome version of the smoke or tinted bug deflectors?

I went through 2 windshield replacements on my 2004 Toyota Sienna (no deflector) due to rocks kicked up by trucks. A friend's 2005 Sienna w/ the OEM deflectors has nary a chip on his hood and has never had his windshields cracked and he commutes the same road I do everyday. Needless to say, my new 2011 blizzard white 4Runner will have the OEM bug deflector installed shortly.

I have this (Amazon.com: Auto Ventshade 25053 Bugflector II Hood Shield for Toyota 4Runner: Automotive) Ventshade brand deflector on my 2011 Trail and it fits great. I really don't care about the bugs, but after fixing about a dozen rock chips on the leading edge of my hood I needed something to protect it. This works just fine.
