Brad and I are planning a trip out to Moab from Denver, CO to Moab, UT Leaving Friday the 20th at noon and returning Monday when we wake up from camp. I'd like to get at least one more rig to make the trip happen. We don't drink on the trail nor do our passengers but at night if you want to have a cold one by the fire we'd be happy to join you in a toast.
Just so we are all on the same page we ask that you make sure you have the following:
1. A working CB
2. Front and rear recovery points. If they don't exist, we can’t pull ya out, and if you don’t have 'em a sleeping bags not a bad idea lol
3. A safe, fully operational vehicle. If you know something is “going out” better get it fixed first.
4. Vehicle jack with and spare tire.
5. Water and warm clothing in case it rains, snows, you fall in water etc.
6. I.n C.ase of E.mergency contact information in your wallet/purse. (I.C.E. in your cell phone i.e. your spouses name and phone#)
The forecast for weather is looking good with temps in the 50s. Post on up if you are interested in going. You can also shoot me a PM if you want my mbl so we can talk about it.
