Front bumper fishing rod holder

Any of you guys mounted one of these to the runner?

I want to get the 4 rod holder but before I order, I was wondering how hard it is to mount this adapter. Thanks in advance!

Search for previous posts about front hitch mounts. One guy did the front hitch because of surf fishing. I'm thinking I've seen 2 different types previously posted on here.

I surf fish and I carry my surf rods on the roof rack in a ski/snowboard rack. Works great and the rack is easily removeable when not in use. I just picked up a new Nexess brand rack off Amazon for $59.00. To me it's better than drilling into your bumper to mount the rod holders your looking at.

I noticed the thread mentioned above. I was more or less specifically referencing the adapter in the link above. It's 50 bucks, so much less than the other front receiver. I only want it to put my rods in, so i'm sure that the weight limit will not be a problem. I do like the other receiver, but don't really need anything that heavy duty. I was just wondeirng if anybody was familiar with mounting that particular mount.
