front bumpers on a 96 TD (european)

Hi there and a happy new year, just got myself this baby 96 Turbo Diesel 3.0...

Look at the front bumper. This seems to be a different bumper from most of the once i find on the internet part-sales. Do you know where i can find some parts on resonable prices. Situated in europe. need allso a new motor for the back door and directions about installation.

i dont see anything different or out of place on your bumper, except you say your truck is a 96 and the bumper looks like one off a late model 2nd gen (ie 93-95 ish). then again there are alot of things on yours that aredifferent than north american 4runners, most of which i wish we could get...diesel 3.0 would be nice.
the best place the get cheap parts would be a junk yard, or ebay for smaller things to avoid huge shipping costs. as for instalation, try searching the internet first, or some kind of manual would also be an option (haynes, factory service etc.)

definately late 95 model 4runner looks like. look on ebay or www.hiluxsurf.co.uk to do with uk 4runners and Japanese Import hilux surfs.

The uk 4runner is has the 3.0litre engine and the jap imports have 2.4 or 3.litre

The 4runner never really took off here because toyota always wanted to promote vehicles like the Landcruiser etc...the production of the 4runner ended in 1995 I believe and now most of the vehicles are the Hilux Surf imported from Japan.

1995 was the end of the 2nd gen and 1996 'P' Reg vehicles started the 3rd gen

im loving the diesel!! if so how do you like the diesel motor in a 4runner? i was thinking about doing a diesel swap in my 4runner... thinking about a mercades or a volkeswagen motor.
