Front caster camber bolt set quote.

Here is a pic of the front caster camber set. It is a quote from the Toyota dealer. The price is hurting my eyes.



If someone can get me a quote from the States with the part numbers on the screenshot and let me know the total. Please help me ! FML



I am going to the dealer tomorrow with the truck and will hopefully get this issue resolved or come to some kind of arrangement with the manager. With all the help and guidance I got from you guys I will make that Tech ( prick ) look a fool if he acts funny with me again.

ETA : What is going on that you need to replace all the bolts, cams, nuts etc ? I can see bushings wearing out, but unless all the bolts are rusted in place.
ETA#2 : RockAuto sells the entire Lower control arm - minus the bolts, for $195 each , plus a Bolt kit for $45 for non-greaseable, and $88for greaseable

The mechanic said it might happen before he went up and lifted the truck to start work on it. He said this $hit happens quite often with Toyota's and Nissan's...

Thank you man, I calculated even with the dollar exchange it will come out to 465$ Canadian if I get the parts from the states. That's half price WTF if I calculate our lowest taxed Province of 16% damn I hate this crap.

So tomorrow after the dealership I might have to get the parts from some fabulous t4r.org member ! To ship it to my address lol Love you guys.

your mechanic is saying that you need to replace all the bushings and cam bolts before you lift? is he high? did they make weed legal in canada??

LoL not legal yet. But after the lift you have to do an alignement right ?

So he told me that he had alot of issues with toyotas. He didn't want to do the front lift if the bolts were jammed. Then I would be screwed.

If he had to cut and replace the bolts ( bushings melted from heating/cutting/useless )

The guy was ok and being fair I think. Since he warned me even before they backed up the truck in the garage.

And all the work I wanted has been done except the front...

So I talked with my friend at work and decided to go to my dealer and do an alignment to see if they could fix my problem ( caster camber bolts jammed )

For me to have a clear idea of what is really going on. I took one hour and fifteen minutes to get it done, here is a picture of the settings. Sorry it is in French.



My collegue from work told me that it might be that the tool they use at the shop I went to do the lift didn't have enough pressure to unbolt the bolts.

All seems fine now and I checked after all was done and I saw some grease around the bolts after the alignment was completed.

So now I will know for sure if the shop still tells me its still jammed I will have proof from the dealer or vice versa who is messing with me. I'd rather pay 100 bucks and know what the problem is for sure than to order and look like a fool and spend 800$.... on a set of alignment screws !

OR it might be the PB Blaster that did the job ! .....

Will keep and update when I receive my front OME coils and do the front lift.
