front end question

One of the modifications I was thinking about adding on to my 4Runner Trail is a front bumper and some lights. However, does this require beefing up the from end suspension and does it cause any problems with the airbags?

Likely a frustration for a lack of search perpetrated by the original poster.

Easy folks. If we remain obsessed with "search first", then will will have nothing left to say to each other soon as all possible questions will have been addressed on our 5th gen T4Rs.

Yes hube01, you will most likely need (want) to beef up the suspension based on how much weight you add with the new bumper. And yes, there are airbag issues to be addressed if you are concerned about proper deployment.

Thank you! As for the using the "search first;" I did.... However, couldn't seem to find a specific topic addressing my questions. I did see some MVA shots and discussion about airbags, and potential law suites. In addition, there were many posts that addressed the subject but nothing in detail...
