Front end squeak? Anybody?

so i've noticed especially after i was messing around and putting the suspension to work going over a ditch at an angle.. i'm thinking something has been stressed to where if i enter a driveway at an angle or go over a angled speed bump.. i hear a squeak from the front end.. its not all the time.. and its not loud or anything.. you'd have to turn down the music and do it again and pay attention to figure where its from.. but.. just seeing if anyone has this issue and if there's a hopeful simple fix :thanks:

I've had the same issue. Is most likely just a worn out bushing or something.

Bad bushing? I highly doubt it (could be possible) unless its actually defective.

You need to try and isolate the squeak, then you can remedy it.

Try greasing your sway bar bushings first. But it really could be anything from a squeaky spring to the hood latch...

I had a similar issue. Turns out the sway bar was rubbing the front spring. Pretty quick adjustment to fix is what my 4x4 guy told me.

yea i was gonna lube the sway bar bushings anyways to try to eliminate it.. i didn't know if any others had a similar issue and if there was a straight forward fix

i haven't gone under there to lube up the sway bar bushings.. i'm waiting until i change my diff fluids and do it at the same time.. i'll surely let you guys know when i do.

I had this same problem and went to the dealer about 3 times before it finally got fixed. First they replaced my shocks, that didn't work. Next they replaced the bushings, still did not fix it. Finally the service manager drove my car and heard the noises himself. He got out of the car put all his weight on the hood and there was the noise. Apparently something was loose and caused it to make a rubbing noise when turning out of a angled parking lot.
