front speakers in a 97 sr5

thanks man, i was looking for someone with personal experience with certain speakers to send a link to the exact speakers that they use that are good... what are those rectangle things in the pictures by the way??

Those are crossovers.

Yes , crossovers . When I removed the door panels to install the speakers I zap strapped them to the metal door frame directly behind where your grab handle is on the inside . They fit nicely there .

One thing I should mention about the Polks , they LIKE a fair amount of power .
I run about 90 watts NOMINAL ( continuous ) thru these and they kick awesome !
I can really crank em with almost no distortion . I use a very HQ amp .
