Skid plates are always better with a bit of character. I hope you can get that access door sorted out. It's not the end of the world to take the skid off for an oil change I suppose... There's lots of stuff to inspect and wipe down while you wait for the oil to drain.

Thanks! Took a big hammer to it yesterday with no luck.:bash: Since I don't have access to a metal press I'm going to leave it as is. Plus one of the door's bolt heads was severely damaged and will need to be drilled out. Figure I will bash it some more and just replace the whole skid plate eventually.

A bit of a souvenir from our super fun adventure across the desert. Also, a reminder not to be complacent while driving on rocky roads. I could have totally avoided that hit if I rolled off the edge of the shelf with less speed :ybrick:
