FS: 1/2" Bodylifts For 03-09

Yep...figured it out! I had to compress the lower body mount a little to get the nut started on that one side then it was on! Got it all tightened down and back together. Several test drives and it is awesome! I can't wait to get new tires. I will post before and after pics as soon as I can...guy a sick kid right now/

Hey Duck'n, Just wondering if you had pics of your T4R with the Daystar and the body lift on stock tires?

I have a Daystar 2.5/1.5 kit waiting to be installed and I would like to purchase this body lift to add a little bit more room for tires when they come. Just wanted to see what yours looked like with stock tires.

Okay, here are the pics.

Before (DS 2.5/1.5 kit only)....



and after (DS kit and 1/2" BL)...



I found an oops though...I must not have hooked the washer bottle back up right. My rear window washer works but not the front. I have to take that dang fender liner off again! LOL, it is always something right?!

Thanks for the pics! Looks great on there. Surprisingly better than I thought it would with only stock tires.

The spoiler will be back on in the morning...had a senior moment and backed into a hanging rack in my garage. Definately a double facepalm moment. I thought about just leaving it off but didn't want to have to bondo or fill the holes left behind. The part was NOT cheap as you can imagine but at least it is just "plug and play". Biggest issue is setting my wheel purchase back a few months! Oh well, at least the lift is done for now.

This body lift and some Duratracs are in my near future.

Duratecs will look GREAT! I really like the looks of them. The install is easy. I would offer to fly out there...I could use a vacay...but the airfare would be alot more expensive than paying a mechanic to install!!!

Just kidding, it really wan't a big deal at all. I had to stop here and there for family stuff so it took me a while. The couple of issues I had were easily resolved by just stopping and thinking about it and consulting with nortex who had just done his...he was actually alot of help!

One tip I would offer anyone doing it that I didn't figure out until I had to go back in to the front passenger corner to fix my washer bottle. Go ahead and take the front passenger tire off. It was SO much easier getting to the washer bottle assembly and wiring harnesses with it off. I took the fender liner off back to mid fender but without the tire I could get in there from the side and access everything. I thought about it when I was installing the lift but didn't stop and do it. I would in a heartbeat next time.

I'm interested... please count me in. That 1/2" looks better than I thought. I'd almost be intrigued to know if a 3/4" would be a little better.... but for $35.00, please add me.

3/4 is probably possible but the stock bolts definitely aren't long enough. Not sure if you'll have any issues with the fan clearing the shroud at that point or slack in the steering linkage.
