Listed is probably the cleanest 1985 1st Gen 4Runner in the southeast. I purchased it from the son of a man who had passed away in Alabama. The truck had been his pride, and he took phenomenal care of it. It was garage kept and entirely stock, except for the visor, the running boards, a new R134 A/C compressor, and two aftermarket speakers in the rear bed. I flew down to Alabama, saw it, fell in love with it, and drove it home that day. At 129,000 miles (the point in which I purchased it) I changed the fluids and drove her home for 12hrs without burning a single drop of oil or coolant.
I purchased this with the hope of putting some time and work into it, possibly turning it into an expedition-level vehicle, but I am moving next week and I have realized I cannot afford to move two vehicles. At the bottom of the ad is a list of aftermarket extras I have purchased but not installed.
Summary:
-Totally clean, rust free frame
-Very clean body minus typical small dents/scratches (there is a bubble of paint smaller than a dime below the gas cap, a common place in these trucks - I was going to have reputable autobody shop clean it up and match the paint)
-Extremely clean interior, except for a rip in the driver seat
-100% functional (rear window, A/C, radio, etc.)
-100% reliable - never let me down
