my baby is looking for a new home. i used it to haul stuff but i outgrew it and had to get a new truck. looking for $6500. read below for the 411:
BASICS:
- third owner - full records - 167k miles on chassis
- 30k miles on new engine $3000
- 4" suspension lift with 2" body lift $3400
- 5x 35" new tires $900
- ARB front bumper $800
- rhino lined entire interior $600
- diamond plate interior panelling $300
- hard top window tint $250
- no dents nor rust
- V6 4x4
- manual
- no A/C.. compressor needs to be installed
- power windows (front and rear both work), mirrors, manual moonroof
- radio not installed, have it in a box. previous owner had it wired for XM
- side steps, currently removed - $100 extra
WORK DONE THIS SUMMER:
- spent almost another $5000 getting it to be as perfect mechanically as i can based on mechanic's recommendation on the following overhaul:
- airlift airbag system in rear to carry heavy duty load - tested to 2000lbs
- custom fab rear bumper for load
- was leaky, replaced 3 gaskets, now the only vehicle in the world from 88 to not leak lol
- new master and slave cylinder for clutch
- replaced almost every steering component off the front from CV and ball joints and axles to bearings and pitman arm
- alignment
- replaced gasket and welded exhaust system to stop exhaust leak
- bodywork done to rear left to fix 2" dent
- bodywork done on left side to fix 1" dent and plug holes from removed chrome
- new front blinkers, new left rear light (not yet installed
- new driver's side mirror
- new front brakes
- new larger master cylinder for brakes to increase braking ability for heavy loads
- new battery
- removable grant racing steering wheel! got that done for best security ever. was going to get a completely keyless system so i would never lose my keys again but didn't get around to this last part
- tuffy security box (replaces center console
- all work done by 4wheelparts, comersons toy shop, and tungs
this isn't a perfect truck. but mechanically speaking, i think it is now the 'newest' that i can make it based on what the mechanic told me to replace. now having spent all this money on it i know i would never get it back from selling it on craigslist. but i hope it will find a good home to someone who can appreciate all the work that went into it. this truck gives you the best bang for your buck. i don't want to sell it because it was going to be my perfect summer truck
