- Practically Brand new Hercules Terra Trac ATIIS - less than 5k miles -
each has road hazard warranty for the life of the tires - brand new wheels installed with the tires as well.
- Toytec coils with bilstein 5100s (tacoma) up front, LC 8 wraps in the rear with bilstein 4600s - roughly 10k miles on the lift - running boards removed
- Spare transmission with
approximately 89k miles
- Everything with the exception of the the rear sliding window is operational and in pretty good condition. The rear slider works occasionally - I believe there's a relay issue. I have some spare gate parts. I'm the third owner - picked it up at 298k from a family who used it as the mom-mobile - garage kept until 300k so the rust is very minimal. I patched two spots on the frame in September and the rest of the frame is in good shape - small chip in the windshield - passenger side. PA inspected until 9/15 -full book of records up to 299k. I have changed the oil myself every 4k since with high mileage synthetic blend.
- Tow package - the trailer hookup is new within the last 2 years (I've only pulled a trailer twice - light, homemade boat docks) and it pulled well.

That is a tough one to call, and it largely depends on why you need a truck, and how hard you are going to work it.

I like to have the flexibility of a mid sized rig (Taco/4runner) but wouldn't hesitate too much on a 1-owner Tundra with service records.

I have a 2004 Silverado 1500, but going to have to sell it soon as my need for a truck is not consistent. I also have a trailer that I can tow, which makes parting with the truck a little easier...

So I saw this, I have been looking for a 4Runner for a while (specifically a 3rd gen). This meets all of the "criteria" I have been looking for except for the high miles, I know these things run forever, and you have the extra transmission, and I am well aware of the capability of these vehicles to run into the high 300's, 400's, etc. But, my dad would be bankrolling me so I would have to convince him why this runner is worth the money with the high miles. I also live in PA, specifically Hanover which is a benefit. Can you guys on here convince me why this thing is worth it?

Update: despite the diff drop installed, the passenger cv inner boot has ripped and is spewing grease. The cv is an aftermarket junk cv and it's the 2nd one I've put in. The Driver's side is holding up ok but has a small rip in the inner boot as well - the front struts may need to be adjusted down to the lowest setting to remedy this issue. Because he's only asking 2700 and has a spare transmission too, not salvage and has service history. Has brand new tires and a lift which are almost worth 2700 alone.
