1997 SR5 3.4L 4WD 151,000 miles

Desert Dune Metallic w/ Oak interior & Moonroof

Drove daily until the passenger rear axle seal leaked. Has been in the garage since, filled the diff and drove it to reset the computer so I could have emissions done and the check engine light came on. Checked the code, it came back heated O2 sensor. Ordered the Denso O2 sensor, went to install it and the old one is seized on the exhaust pipe. So now I have a whole new Bosal exhaust ready to be installed and the O2 sensor. The temporary registration has since expired so I have not driven it since. Starts, runs, and drives fine. Just needs some work to bring it back to snuff.

The other Bad....
Front CV boots torn
Rear sway bar link needs replacing
Rust around rear passenger wheel well
General frame and undercarriage rust on a Midwest vehicle

The Good...
Always Mobil1 5w-30 every 5000 miles w/Toyota filter
A/C Ice cold
All fluids look good
Interior and exterior in good shape for age
All electronics work perfectly
Starts and runs beautifully.

Sorry that I have to let this truck go, it has been reliable and served us well over the years (since 04). It is simply a project that I can no longer complete and stay on top of.

Please get this baby back on the road and trail! Or use the parts and extras for your rig. Easily worth the price for accessories and parts alone.

Morning bump

Pass the word, a lot of great things about this runner.

To answer your questions...

If you can do the axle seal and update the suspension it's still a great car and runs great. Interior in very nice condition. Exterior great minus the one wheel well.

Surface rust on underside in areas but no perforations, etc. Rear axle has rust but no weak spots, was painted with POR-15 several years ago.

Frame and cross members touched up with POR-15 at the same time.

They spray brine solution on the roads here and we get huge amounts of snow so any exposed steel on the underside has that "orangey" color.

And yeah I priced it as low as I'd go before parting it out, I really would like it to go to a good new home and tried to take into account the shop price of doing the work that needs to be done. If you can do it yourself it's an even better deal.

Well, if you're interested in getting rid of the front bumper and skid plates, please let me know. I could even swap out for stock! I've always loved the shrockworks bumper!

Well the shrockworks was 1100 not including freight, and the skid plates are 550 plus shipping on budbuilt.

Why not get the whole car including a rear bumper, PIAA lights and all the extras that come along with it.

I also have a full set of husky liners including the cargo area that will be included.

This is a great deal. For the one that complained about rust... For $2,500 who cares. It's a little rusty but not too bad. Put $2k into this and it's more reliable than you even need ha. GLWS
