Vehicle was purchased and built in California. Purchased vehicle with 140,000 miles and had it custom built by Outdoor Logic fabrication company of Riverside, CA.

Since this vehicle was purchased and built in California it is very clean underneath and has been well maintained. Vehicle was designed for K9 Search and Rescue with all work performed by professional fabricators, audio installers, and Toyota mechanics

The vehicle has seen only 3 off road sessions. The rest was daily road driving and long distance trips.


Regular vehicle alignments conducted along with regular inspections to ensure vehicle was always operating at 110%.

Truck has been well maintained. Truck has not been taken off road and abused

Vehicle well maintained ready to sell. I have over $22,000.00 invested.
I am clearly taking a significant financial lost of what I have invested in this truck. I am not expecting to receive a complete ROI

I think 11,500 is a reasonable price but you have to be patient and find the right customer. You'd probably get your money's worth parting out all that armor. Just a suggestion.

Thank you for your feedback again I am not trying to get a complete return on investment all I want is a fair price for both parties.

You have a very nice looking truck, and while I can appreciate that you have invested a lot of money in it, the cruel reality is that the vast majority of modification money ends up lost when it comes time to sell. Given that most of what you've added is "accessory" oriented, and not hard parts that improve the overall function a great deal (gearing, diffs, serious engine mods, etc.), you're probably shooting a few thousand too high on the price. I would say more in the $8-8.5k range is a reasonable expectation for that age range in excellent condition with tasteful add-ons. For the record, I've owned four older ones, and been around them for the last 10 years or so.

BucknutBob, it is very sad but true. I have seen many 4Runners with performance modifications go for roughly the same cost. If you are willing to be patient it will sell, but most people will not pay top dollar.
