Hello all, just purchased an 01 Tacoma as I need the bed for hauling, and I am selling my 4Runner. It's a 1999 SR5 3.4 with the 5 speed manual.
Exterior I would give a 8/10 it has minor dents in both corners of the rear bumper and a crack in the windshield on the passenger side. Tiny spots of minor surface rust where the running boards contacted the body. Just needs a little rust inhibitor and silver touch up to look perfect.
Interior I would give a 8.5/10 it's clean, has floor mats however the dash by the passenger has a few small cracks. I went through and cleaned all the nooks and crannies when purchasing about 4 months ago.
What I've done- in last 1500 miles or so new spark plugs (the proper dual tip kind), wires, air filter, oil change, fixed tcase leak, new t case fluid. New rear Rough Country shocks for 0-3" lift installed last week! Previous owner installed new tires recently they are at 90% tread. Also installed a hitch in the last month but haven't towed anything with it, that's what the Tacoma will be for.
Starts great, runs great. Smooth shifting. All electronics work except the power antenna, I just leave it up. Only other issue is the clutch will likely need replaced sometime in the next 10-20k. On takeoffs uphill there so some slight clutch chatter which is due to the worn flywheel/ clutch. Previous owner and I drove it like this, it took a week to learn to adjust when to release the clutch and it's near non-existent now to me.
Cash only sale. Comes with the running boards which I removed upon purchase. Clean title (Michigan title as that's where I'm from) and passed emissions recently.
