SOLD!!! SOLD!!! SOLD!!!
For sale is a beautiful truck. It's a 2000 4x4 4runner sport edition, with the rare 5 speed manual trans and only 178,000 miles on it. This was the last year to get a 5 speed and the sport package.
The 4runner was purchased new in Colorado Springs by the original owner, the second owner bought it in 2005 and the truck moved to Westminster CO until it was sold to me. Now it's in Northern CO. It's been a Colorado truck its whole life.
This truck has been meticulously maintained and taken care of. Has factory keyless entry, power locks and windows, fog lights, and sun roof. Wheels and tires are in good shape, tires have another season or two in them. The wheels have very little pitting on them.
I have a folder that includes every receipt and invoice of work that has been done to it in the last 12 years, including the original dealer paperwork and window stickers. A quick list:
Timing belt and water pump were replaced 40,000 miles ago.
Has an aftermarket muffler that sounds throaty but doesn't drone on the highway. new cat as well.
Clutch was replaced 2 years ago and has less than 15,000 miles on it and is still under warranty.
Interior is in great condition, only seat with a tear in it is the back driver's. The owner before me slid a heavy box across it and popped a stitch. Has all weather floor mats and factory cargo mat. Dash does have some peeling or cracking right under the airbag, but there's a dash mat on it that hides it very well.
Truck does have some body damage,
the previous owner got hit in the front bumper by someone who ran a red light. Made a small dent and knocked the bumper flare off. It didn't bother me because I planned on putting and AOR bumper on it. And the previous owner's wife scraped the wall when backing out of their garage on the rear bumper. This took off paint and cause a small bit of rust.( pictures included)
Truck runs great and looks just as good. Only selling because I have 97 another 4runner and can't afford to keep both. This truck would be a great candidate to supercharge! I know a guy selling a grey first gen supercharger for $1500 right now. Sadly no elocker (I'm as sad as you are about it), but I have an Elocker axle housing that I'll throw in with the sale. I'm asking $6000
