Excellent condition 2002 Toyota 4Runner 4x4 w/ 138,850 miles

All maintenance is up-to-date and the truck needs nothing. I work from home so this was mainly used for travel throughout Colorado and out of state a few times. Taken "off-road" once to Wheeler Geologic Area near Creede, CO. It has been well-cared for and I'm only selling due to job relocation to CA.

I've seen 80k mile 4runners go for 8k here so it was way overpriced. Not everything is as overpriced here as it seems. Usually the high dollars one have superchargers and better options.

I had 10 ppl contact me and four offers over $10k within 12 hours of listing it, guess it wasn't overpriced to them.

I mean, I know it's the latest 3rd gen (2002), and pretty low miles, and Thundercloud metallic is one of the best 3rd gen colors... but still.

Why would I be mad? People are dumb with money. For example the people paying 30k+ for 4th-5th gens with 60k+miles on them...why not just buy a new one for a couple grand more? I'll never understand. Congrats on selling it.

Wow. I just picked up a 98 4x4 manual SR5 with 180,000 miles In Texas for $5,000. I love it but felt I was overpaying. After seeing this I feel much better.

seems like a reasonable price to me considering the condition, maintenance, upgrades, and mileage. Nice upgrades without being a fully built truck and thus still appropriate as a daily driver. Interior looks great which is no small thing for a 13 year old vehicle. It's a Colorado truck so rust isn't an issue. Turn key vehicle. Relative to the used car market generally, this is a lot of vehicle for $11,000.

I've gotten to where I'll lay out more for xxxxx in excellent condition. It makes ownership much more pleasant and ultimately less costly. There isn't a linear relationship between price and condition. Trying to find a late model 3rd gen in that condition is difficult and thus it should command a premium

The posters who immediately start with the "dude, that's way overpriced. I got mine for $3,000 with 10,000 miles blah blah blah" are jerks. WTF kind of stake do they have in the transaction? None. It's posted in the for sale section, not the petty-comments how-about-you-try-to-toss-a-wet-blanket-my-way section.
