FS: 2003 4runner Limited V8 4wd (Santa Cruz CA) *SOLD*

White with tan leather interior (one tear on drivers side bolster) New Black Clazzio seat covers, new drivers seat bottom cushion, heated front seats
160k miles. I bought it at 69k miles six years ago. Great condition.
Navigation (updated disk), JBL Audio (New JL sub), sunroof, rear cargo deck
4.7L V8
full-time 4wd
Daystar leveling kit (2.5/1.5), Spidertrax spacers, original Xreas not leaking
265/70/R17 Yokohama Geos at 126k miles
Tow hitch
New dashboard through the Toyota action request
New battery, old one was fine but five years old
New timing belt, water pump, hoses, radiator at 112k miles
Serpentine belt at 91k miles
Front and rear diff, power steering, radiator fluids all flushed at one time or another since I have owned it.
Left and right complete CV axles replaced (boots were torn) at 156k miles
Oil changed every 3-5k miles
Bulbs, minor repairs etc always fixed and replaced
Off road on fire trails only, nothing major and very sparingly
No accidents, clean title in hand
Only selling it because I bought a new Tundra

Curious why you would prefer the V6 over the V8 for the 2003 T4R?

The 4th gen we are looking at buying is going to be a daily driver/travel car. We live in Texas so things are quite spread out over here and on top of that we live within driving distance to lots of family so we can bank on about 4000-5000 miles per year of planned travel alone. The most this one would see is the occasional hunting trip to the dove field or duck blind and weekend camping trips. I don't have anything to tow right now and I like the idea of being able to run in 2WD if I choose. For that reason I'd rather have the timing chain engine so I can cut back on some maintenance--once we get it I plan on driving it until the wheels fall off. Since I'm not going to be doing any thing serious other than a lot of cruising there's no need for the V8.

Also I'm not strictly limiting my search to 2003--it just so happens this one is relatively close to what I'm wanting. Ideally I'd go 2006+, but I'm not eliminating anything just in case I find a car that is perfect in every other way. I haven't found too many Limited 4x4's down here--most of the ones nearby are 2WD and especially none with the factory navi. That option means I can eliminate putting an aftermarket unit in.
