FS 2006 GX470 Black 80.5k miles

Per title - 2006 GX470 for sale. I bought from the original owner in VA, whom advertised on this site.

Immediately after I bought it, I replaced the front headlight assemblies with OEM Lexus GX470 Sport headlights. Last summer I replaced other stuff... see link below.

Water pump/TB have not been replaced.

Wow, looks like a gut job. Why does the dash need replaced? Timing belt and water pump need replaced. They have 120 months on them.

How long have you known 4th Gen platforms - both 4Runners and GX's? It is well known that some of these 4th gen 4Runners and GX's have had issues with the dashboards cracking (and even some RX models.) So much so, that Lexus came out with a 'warranty enhancement' to cover for the repairs on the GX470, to replace the dash - no cost to the owner.

I am not sure what you mean about 120 months on them for the water pump and TB replacement. All I am stating is that the GX hasn't had the TB and WP replaced; period. It runs fine.

He is saying that the timing belt needs to be replaced due to age alone. Timing belts wear with miles AND age, the more city driving you do, the more wear on the timing belt. It's 90k miles OR 9 years whichever comes first. The 4.7 L is also an interference motor, it breaks with little or no warning, and when it does, it ruins the engine (pistons slam into valves). Just because it runs good now, doesn't mean that the timing belt won't break tomorrow.

TB and WP is being replaced at a local Toyota Dealership at the moment. Asking price is the same.

Don't listen to this knuckelhead. He clearly has no idea what he is talking about. that much is clear from the question asked about the dash.

$18,500 was a decent price. $17,500 with tbelt, wp, and rad done plus those wheels is a great deal! I just wish I needed a new truck. I would buy this in a heart beat.

Lexus will replace the dash for free. Just takes a while.
