I'm asking $4400/best offer for my 1999 4Runner Highlander/Sport
192k with a 85,000 mile engine
Good shape with a lot of goodies.
It has a CEL on with the PO171 and PO172 codes
No reasonable offer refused since I need it gone and have a $3100 offer on the table.
Great truck just isn't fitting into my life and my wife prefers the Lexus and I can only have one toy car.
2nd owner since 2004
'99 Highlander/Sport model California emissions truck 3.4 V6
191,972 original miles
Replaced orignal motor with a 83,xxx mile engine installed at 187,825 miles
All the expected options including the rear diff locker
$6000 invested in the last 3 years including $4000 for the engine and installed
New TB,water pump,rear main seal and plugs and wires done also.
Has the rear cargo cover and Alpine('05) HU and 200w amp and MTX 10" sub
All weather OEM 4Runner mats
Interior is in great condition and is a non-smoker truck
Load warrior basket on top
Faux TRD skidplate
Sunroof
Ventvisors
Tow package with new in the box wiring harness
I also have every receipt from the truck since 2004
Starter and alternator have less than 40,000 miles on them and the battery and windshield were also replaced in the last 15,000 miles 4 years.
New parts added since the engine was installed:
Koyo Radiator/hoses,thermostat
Fuel filter
rear cat,muffler and both sensors
Front brakes
Ball joints are still solid
Ok,now for the few negatives:
Truck did get hail damage 5 years ago but it was mostly contained to horizontal surfaces and isn't real bad
I did bed line the hood to hide said hail damage
The steering rack and endlinks will need attention eventually
A few dings and scratches and a few rough edges but nothing major
I also am chasing a pesky PO171 and a PO172 code so it's all over.
I am asking $4700 but am going to be flexible because time is the essence and it does need a few things to get it back to top notch.
