First, the good: 1994 FZJ80 with 22x,xxx miles, 3x factory E-lockers, <5k on 285/75R16 Hankook Dynapro AT/M load range E tires, Taco TRD wheels, <10k on headgasket, lots of new parts, decent stereo and in-dash CB with weather channels and compass, have 3rd row seats, everything works, has air tank installed for OBA system, no compressor yet.
The bad: has a new Magnaflow Y-pipe but needs exhaust cat-back. All the emissions parts are in a box, will need to be reinstalled unless you have friends like I do. I can reinstall if needed. The key doesn't fit the glovebox or rear hatch, but fits ignition and both front doors. I'm thinking a VIN cut key would work in the hatch/glovebox.
Now for the ugly: this truck was lightly rolled last November and still isn't 100% cosmetically. The front clip is tan and the rest is Monstaliner black. I plan on another Monstaliner weekend in the coming weeks and this problem will go away then, unless somebody buys it first and wants to wrap it up themselves. The ad will reflect this change when it happens. (If there is a firm commitment involving $ down I would happily change to another shade of Monstaliner for you.) There's also a little wrinkle in the roof, and will likely be some wrinkles in the passenger rear quarter panel once that gets popped out, but maybe not. PDR guy is gonna take a look at that next week. These are minor wrinkles and not easily noticeable. Also kinda ugly is the front bumper halfway through being built. This will hopefully go away too, as it only needs a few panels and some decent paint to be complete.
I'm selling this truck only because my family is moving to a different city and my wife & I will be switching vehicles. It has been stone cold reliable, taking us on many adventures and we may shed tears when it goes. However she will have a much shorter commute so she gets the SUV, and I want our SUV to be more modern and street friendly for her and my daughter. So we're looking to turn our Land Cruiser into a 4Runner. I would gladly entertain offers to trade, especially for a 3rd Gen or a super super clean no rust anywhere 2nd Gen. Otherwise, I'm not looking for any other vehicles in trade and instead I'm asking $4500 firm. The truck is daily driven so mileage will go up slightly.
