FS: JL Audio 10w7 & Jl Audio 500/1

For sale is my system out of my 4runner. It's a JL Audio 10w7 in a custom slot ported box tuned to 38 hz with a JL Audio 500/1 amp to power it. This is a perfect combo for clean, crisp, and ridiculously loud sound. I'm located in Reno, NV and would be willing to go as far as Sacramento, CA. Price is $600 for the whole shabang. Would like to sell as combo, but possibly break it up.

Free bump for you while I say that's an interesting amp location. No problems with it overheating down there? Got any pics of the install process?

Sorry no pics of the install Just took out the front seats and took out the carpet, ran all my wires, took out the jack mount and other stuff so it was semi flat, then screwed the amp into the floor so it's solid and you can't just rip it out. Amp is solid, no overheating ever, barely even gets warm at full volume.

i be a lil worried about that amp location, its not always a good idea to mount on bare metal, i hope no moisture got in. how much for the amp?

That said, the v1 is still a very solid peice of equipment. The comments here, unless intended to help with the sale, are not really necessary.

Lol you guys are funny, I understand that newer versions of anything always have minor upgrades but the v1 vs v2 debate is moot, they both are rated at 500w rms, the v2 will not sound better than the v1. The amp is grounded so what's the big deal? Anyway none of this matters because I sold it locally, thanks for looking everyone!

The v2 is better than the v1, like the v3 is better than the v2. The internal components were changed, therefore the overall sound has been affected. Not that anyone could tell the difference in bass response between the two anyway. The v1 is still a solid piece of equipment, just wanted to clear up any notions that the v2 wasn't the better amp. Glws

I went and bought the HD-750 and a 12W6 instead...absolutely love them!
