I was worried about my MPGs but since I am averaging ~280 miles a tank with a lift and tires plus a S/C I guess I am doing alright then.
I'm supercharged, lifted, and on 33" tires...

Damn you guys. My 97 limited averages 180-200 miles per tank :/
Armor wise I have a Shrockworks front bumper and rock sliders. As for gearing its factory gear nag as far as I know. The previous owner installed an E-locker rear end and maybe matched the gears in the front diff but I don't know the ratio.
Trialrun Small towns just love to kill your gas mileage by putting stop signs in the middle of long open stretches. It "keeps kids from drag racing"
ha, no kidding. I have a 2 mile stretch off the highway to get home with 8 freaking stop signs. This town has caused me to just roll thru stop signs now, it's a bad thing
WTF!!!!
I have a 99 and I'm only getting 225 with a light foot. I have always averaged that in my runners.
What's wrong with my trucks?!?!?!
I just did a full tune up and nothing changed. OEM plugs and wires, airfilter, fuel filter, O2 sensors, Cleaned the MAF, PVC!
I am running 265/75R18 but even with my stock wheel and tire set up I was getting the same.
Any ideas?
So, knock on wood, most of my driving is highway to work now, and I'm getting damn near 300 a tank. I have a 2.5" lift, 265/75/16 E-Rated Yoko Geolanders (42PSI rear and 40PSI front), with the spare in the back, trailer hitch, and about 30lbs of gear in the rear at all times.
I think I'm getting more than that since the tire size is bigger than stock, but I'm bad at math and can't figure out what I'm actually getting mileage wise. I just don't push it past 300 because I don't want to actually run out of gas. I think I've put in close to 15 gallons when I got that 300 mile mark, but I know gas pumps can be wildly inaccurate too. Don't we only have like a 15.4 gallon tank or something?
Don't jinx me! I keep thinking that I can't give up this ol' goat because the mileage is better than most new 4runners (but with significantly less HP).
have you accounted for the tire size in the odometer? you have basically skinny 34" tires.
